Presented to a director whose work reveals exceptional artistic vision, originality, and command of cinematic language.
Best Performance
Presented for a performance of exceptional depth, authenticity, and emotional power, by an individual or ensemble.
Jury Special Prize
Presented to a film distinguished by a singular voice, innovative approach, or perspective recognized by the jury.

Independent judgment.
Clear standards.
Jury decisions are final. When no work meets the festival's standard for a distinction, that award may remain unpresented. Official selections receive AKFF laurels, and winners are announced during the festival period.
