A screen for
new voices.

Why AKFF exists

Beyond categories.
Toward cinema.

Ara Korea Film Festival presents works that engage contemporary culture, identity, and evolving forms of cinematic expression.

Rather than reducing films to format or genre, we look for originality, artistic integrity, and the clarity of a singular point of view.

Our vision

Recognition that
opens a next chapter.

AKFF recognizes promising voices early and builds meaningful visibility around their work. Our screenings connect filmmakers with audiences, working artists, and cultural conversations that continue beyond the festival.
